A #HIMYM finale response. I can only let out a sigh of uncertainty which is a rarity. Was it enough? Or was it too short? It has been an enduring build up over the past 9 seasons where we can only hope for a redeeming delivery for the hopeless romantic. But I can see that there is a huge risk of giving the people too much what the want from the show. So much to expect, yet we’re not sure what to ask for. I’ve felt weird feelings drawn out from unexpected situations and almost tear-jerkers that went different directions. As a fan who cherished their big moments, cheered for them on heart lessons, and yearned so much closure for these characters…I was only left abandoned and confused. April fools came a little early for me. That’s an odd feeling for a series finale. There was actually a 6th slap, and we all got it. I leave this forum open. What do you think?
