Williamsburg Horse Show Association would like to thank all who have supported us through 2013. There were a lot of ribbons, prize money, prizes, and a whole lot of great memories as you all "walked, trotted and jogged, cantered and loped" around the ring. We met a new judge and she returned with entries for the August show. We brought back a judge who was used about 10 - 11 years ago and caught up on raising children, horses, and other friends. Her husband enjoyed his day has he visited our annual farm show. We said "hello" to some new entries who traveled our way. We missed a lot of our friends today as they committed to the 4-H District Show in Huntingdon and the Windber Hospice Show but we understand. A few new youngsters found their way to our show ring and brought more young smiles to Williamsburg. Leadline especially brought big smiles with a blue ribbon, orange participating ribbon, a small trophy, and the $1 bill which was handed to them as the judge found great difficulty in placing first, second, etc. Such small gifts were so appreciated by the leadline participants. We even enjoyed a "Special Rider of the Future" and we giggled like a bunch of giddy kids (Thanks, Jackie). With limited funds, so much happiness in one day ......the giggling of our saddleseat rider Gina, the fast-paced rides of Nancy, the high (very high) jumping of Beth, the gracefulness of Wendy and Cindy, the advertising of "Goldie" for Brittany as they performed with excellence, the big smile of Josey, and the pride of Bruce and Laura and ...on and on. Memories are what we were left with today. Until we meet again in 2014, we wish all of you the best ever Fall season and the Winter season with all the holidays and family get togethers, WE THANK YOU!
