Win Indy 500 tickets! Are you wishing you could be in the stands at the Indy 500 in two weeks? How about on the front straight across from the pits? The Racing Research Center might be able to help that wish come true! The Center is raffling two front-straight, reserved-seat ticket packages to the May 25 98th Indianapolis 500. The packages were donated to the Center by long-time supporter Jack Hartney of Watkins Glen. Hartney has attended every Indy 500 since 1948, with one exception. The race-day tickets are for two seats in Stand C, on the front straight across from the pits. Also included in the package: two tickets to the Driver’s Meeting and Legends Day on Saturday, May 24, and two passes for the Garage Area after the race on Sunday. Raffle tickets for the Indy 500 ticket packages are $20 each. The winning raffle ticket will be drawn by Sam Posey on Saturday, May 10, after the afternoon Center Conversations program on the Formula 5000 race series. The total value: about $250. To purchase a raffle ticket, call the Center at (607) 535-9044 with credit card information before 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 10. Credit card orders also will be taken via email at [email protected], but must be received before 3 p.m. on Saturday.
