Many would have remembered one of our personalities, Randall Tan, in the popular channel 5 drama series, Light Years, in 2003-2004. Since then, he has acted in numerous shows, hosted multiple events as well as embarked on a modelling career. Amidst his busy schedule, Randall still sets aside time to give back to the community. Together with his team, The Yellow Fellows, Randall takes part in various running competitions and races each year to show their support for the Singapore Cancer Society. They have collectively raised $50,000 for cancer research and support initiatives for the society. His involvement with the cause has earned him the title, “Charity Athlete”. Representing Singapore Cancer Society for So You Think You Can Fly, Randall is once again competing for the cause he believes in. “Everyone has lost someone to cancer – be it a friend or family member. I want to do my bit to help the charity,” said the charismatic charity athlete. Losing his uncle to prostate cancer earlier this year, Randall is determined to win the grand prize of $10,000 for Singapore Cancer Society.
