Winton Lidl has run out of food nearly entirely, my distaste for - TopicsExpress

Winton Lidl has run out of food nearly entirely, my distaste for being forced to pay Waitrose prices for my weekly groceries is comparable to that of the Nazis to anyone failing to meet Aryan criteria during the Holocaust. As I set foot into Waitrose the feeling that I was overwhelmingly under dressed hit me like a fifty ton freight train, I looked around blankly for a basket, my eyes wondering over this alien world desperately searching for the for the dark blue plastic familiarity that was a Lidl basket, a moment of two passed before I noticed that such a luxury was not to be and alas like I was forced there in the first place, I found myself the unwilling companion of a bog standard shopping basket. I soon went on my way trying to navigate the aisles, grumbling under my breath about how I was to pay over 10% of my hourly wage for a mere cucumber, my mood growing ever worse the further I ventured in. Eyes fixed now in a constant arrogant glare, the kind that says Judge me all you like lady, I have 75quid in the bank and still live a happier life than you in an attempt to put any middle class middle aged mother into a recoil and the thought that she was in fact nothing but a glorified baby sitter, to a husband that was more interested in the act of squash among others with his secretary than he was in her when they got married and that there are more things to life than, whos driving the newest people carrier on the school run. This aside, I managed to procure myself all the relevant items I had listed to get, bar one, a premade lasagne, the time it took me to find said Lasagne, saw my ever so slight laugh lines grow to clearly formed crows feet and my worry lines became deep and legnthy, like my forehead had been the chosen route of a river thatd run a million years. The Lasagne was eventually located in the bottom fridge, pushed into the murky depths of the fridges rear side, potentially to discourage anyone on a salary less than 50,000 a year to shop there? I pondered briefly before snatching it up and making for the checkout with haste.
