Wisdom lines Put out the magic carpet roll away the stone light the candle in the window the poet is at home put an end to suffering ride the ferris wheel the monkeys with the jester the spirits in the Jill the ransoms paid and sanctified the waters in the well the masters in the den tonight the poetrys not for sale light up the beacons on the hillside let all the ship set sail the boy is on the quarter deck the fish is in a jar the ladys in her negligee and the priest in his car the cards are all are on the table the jack is in the pack the king is in his element and the queen is on her back the humpty dumpty stories and the tales of girl and boy the rhetoric it is profound and the speeches are employed the streams are flowing freely and the kisses are for free in the land of milk and honey theres always time for tea the sandwiches are cut n trimmed the scones are set and laid theres comfort in the valley with the dames and country maids the bells are ringing in the churches the anthems can be heard the songbirds they are busy reciting n playing the music of the Lord the lovers they are happy smooching in the dell whilst the poor and lonely servants avoid their trip to hell the master trade mans daughter is making love not war and the young mans in his element with her on the shore all the thunder and the lightning have vanished in the tears of the long forgiven soldiers who gave their lives and years the band it plays its medleys of old songs good and bad whilst the poet writes another line to the girl he never had the master speaks another word from the testament of Jude whilst the wild howls in the corridors when the pretty gals got wooed the good and lonesome architect was given to recall that the stone was turned in love and grace like the wisdom of the sword
