Wish my mum luck or/& say a prayer for her. Dad died in Oct of 12. Tomorrow is the VA hearing to reassess his disability status. The Navy finally admitted that there was radiation exposure in Antarctica. Then the VA accepted that vets were exposed. Now each vet has to file with the VA to have their individual case reviewed. Holy bureaucratic nightmare Batman. Mum has continued the fight. Shes been reviewing the three inches of paperwork in Dads file for the last couple of weeks. While the extra money would make a huge difference in mums quality of life, its the principle of the fight. For the darn government to properly compensate their vets. Military service should mean something. Especially a full career.
