From the northern state of J& K to the nation’s coast in the Arabian sea, our armed forces are always on guard to keep us safe! In J&K, the BSF retaliated with full force after #Pakistan breached ceasefire along the International Border in J&K’s Sambha District. Sadly, one brave heart BSDF jawan lost his life in the crossfire that killed four #Pakistani rangers. The retaliation which forced the Pakistan rangers to wave white flags came on a day when the government asked the BSF to provide a suitable & appropriate reply for any unprovoked firing from across the Indo-Pak border. On the coast of the Arabian Sea, in what could have been another attempt to cause havoc on #Indian shores like 26/11 terror strikes, Indian Coast Guard intercepted a suspicious Pakistani fishing boat, laden with explosives, in the early hours of January 1! Four people on board the boat apparently blew themselves up after being chased by the Coast Guard for over an hour & warning shots being fired during the incident. Ministry of Defence (India) sources on Friday confirmed that the Pakistani fishing boat, on way from Keti Bunder near #Karachi, was intercepted by the Coast Guard approximately 365 km from #Porbander.
