With Google satellite maps and street views, Ive been able to wander through the streets and overfly my old home town to see whats changed and what hasnt. I was happy to see that, even though theres a factory built in the general area, my old woods--which I called Plumleys woods--was still pretty much the same, along the river. It was just behind Johny Plumleys house on Clay St. (father was priest at Episcopal church, Canon Plumley). The hours we spent playing in those woods were among the best of my memories from then. Telling jokes, playing civil war and later, smokin Camel cigarettes in an oak tree... I remember Johnny Plumley, Tony Cacimise, Tom Sperry John Brooks, Mickey Miggins, Dave Bezwick. Who else was in that gang?
