With HE Dr Ekemeleddin Ihsannoglu, the secretary general of OIC, Mr Ufuk Gokeen, Ambassador and Permanent Observer of OIC to the UN and Dr. Hassan Abdein, Department of Minorities and Communities of OIC. We discussed a wide rage of issues. OIC made it clear that they are here in Myanmar to help the needies, who are in need of help regardless of race and religion. They visited Arakan state and found that both Rohingyas and Rakhines are in dire need of helps. Their priorities are1 resettlement, 2 health care 3 education and 4 supplies of basic essential items. Some here in Myanmar are having the view that OIC is here only to help the muslims. No, it is totally false and quite contrary to their mission. They made it quite clear that their mission is to help all the needies of Myanmar and to help develop our country. The discussion was very fruitful.
