With Simon Gittany due to be jailed for up to two decades this week for the balcony murder of his fiancee, Lisa Harnum, his girlfriend Rachelle Louise has used a paid TV interview to proclaim his innocence. But an investigation by Channel Sevens Sunday Night program has uncovered evidence to the contrary, including an eerie telephone call in which Ms Harnum is heard trying to appease Gittanys controlling rage. I am not having a go at you, she says in the recording. Gittany replies: We can do this nicely or we could do it a different way.
