With Spring right around the corner, we’re starting to see more activity at the Losh Free Library (yay)! This seems like a good time to post a reminder about book donations. While we greatly appreciate the generous book donations we receive regularly, please keep this rule of thumb in mind; if your book donations fit into the LFL, feel free to leave them. If you book donations do not fit in the LFL, please don’t leave them outside the LFL. If you’re uncertain whether a local LFL can use large volumes of book donations, simply ask. This may not be the case for other local LFLs, but Losh Free Library frequently receives drop-off donations in the form of boxes, bags and yes, even laundry baskets full of books! While you lovely folks who donate books to the community are our kindred spirits, we’re running out of space in our small home to hold this overflow of donated books.
