With all the stories of bad ethics on the water these days; thought I would share one that went right after it was way wrong. Chris Cenci pre-tourney fishing and me with clients leave the ramp at the same time.. As we roll a guy pulls in to drop his boat.. We blaze across and start working fish together.. 15 min later said dude straight drops in on both of us.. 300 yards up-flat, and full cutoff.. Pissed I pole up on the outside, and fire up the engine.. Basically made it real apparent I was gonna work that water... Now comes the good part.. The dudes fishing partner calls and texts me that night to apologize for his buddys move.. He is new and did not understand how we work an area here... Coming from a tidal area where its common to line up and fish the flow; he had no clue.. His friend assured me he is working with him to understand.. Thanks Josh, taking time out of your day to explain and try to better the situation.. This is why I do seminars and free flow info on FB... Some people dont know, they dont understand, and only need a little help.. Book a reputable guide and cut the learning curve.. Dont be that guy in the blue boat!
