With an extremely heavy heart I need to let all of our family and friends know that my sweet brother, Richard Dean Chounard passed away early this morning. I honestly dont know what to say other than he loved his family dearly and was looking forward to the day he would be able to retire and relocate to either the shore of Lake Michigan where he found total peace with the world, or to his birthplace in Grafton, North Dakota. My brother was my rock. He had my back no matter what the situation. I looked forward to his telephone calls and was thrilled when he learned how to use Facebook and would send me instant messages. This note isnt about me...it is about my sweet brother Rick! He was a hard-working man that just looked forward to what was coming next. He leaves behind his wife, Jo Ann, his children Amanda, son Ricky and four beautiful grandchildren. He will be missed by so many and I will be sure to let you know when the Memorial arrangements have been made. Please say a prayer for our family at this time of our loss! We love you Rick and we will see each other again on the other side. Hug Mom and Dad for me!
