With children going back to school now, parents all over the country are back to praying every morning that their children will be safe from any kind of gun violence at school. Every time that there is a new school shooting parents are forced to feel that terrified panic until they find out if their child is safe. And sadly, there will be some this year who will likely never get that desperate relief. Because until we decide to actually do something about gun violence in this country, school shootings will continue. It’s time….it’s so past time….that we put our love of each other above our love of guns. It’s time for some common sense gun legislation.
