With only 3 hours of sleep the night before, a brutal day of meetings until 8 PM, I was beyond exhausted. All I wanted to do was climb into bed and allow sweet sleep to welcome me as its long lost friend. Alas, my children had other ideas. Awakened and refreshed from extended periods of napping and rest, Princess and Joshua I. greeted me loudly and enthusiastically. All I could think was, Mercy Lord. We literally laughed until we wheezed. They literally laughed me to sleep. Wen I awoke this morning (at 3:23 AM - aaarrrggghhh), I realized now that they are older, they will soon leave the nest (hopefully) and build lives and families of their own. How I cherish these memories. #seasonschange
