With the Miracle League of Joliet starting back up next Saturday and knowing what joy, comfort and peace it brings me, I was looking for the right words for where we can go with respect to servant leadership and came across a quote from Mother Teresa that fits nicely...We can do no great things-only small things with great love. I know my life has been a better one because for some reason, I was taught the value of getting involved in helping others. My daughter Parker has been diligent in her pursuit of making a diffrence, although I wish sometimes it would make her happier than it seems to. Casey gets it at a young age and sees tha joy helping others can bring and IF there is a kinder heart than Adam, Id love to see it so Im blessed as a parent to know that legacy is in place for when Im gone. It both angers me and yet at the same time makes me laugh when a person asks...Do you get paid to do this stuff? Paid to do this stuff ? If you mean money you jackass then no I dont. If you mean do I benefit inside with the happy feeling it brings me then yes, I get paid more than a million dollars. Its never to late to get it folks.. Go out and start making a difference in the lives of others. Done preaching.. Happy Sunday one and all. .
