With the posting by Pastor Don and Linda [Urgency of the Hour], which resounds deeply in my own spirit, I would like to post my video of a prayer/song of repentance for the church... for the nations. I wrote it in 1996 after praying to God, and asking him for a song for the church. I wrote it within five minutes after praying that prayer. Years later, I created this video. please watch past the music, past the credits. I should probably re-do the end, because after I put the credits on, I felt I was supposed to continue- so people could take time to think. Here it is: youtu.be/B86lhomEDN8 The old house is symbolic of a sin-filled life needing redemption. The tree in the field is symbolic of the Church, with sin in the leadership, the leaves, (the sheep- followers) come each season and the tree appears healthy from a distance, but at the very base of the tree is a rotted out hole, and it is symbolic of leadership, overseers, political heads of churches of all denominations, and whoever needs it- to get real with God and admit their sins and repent. This is the beginning of the revival and until leadership repents... well, the sheep listen to their leaders... and follow their example. There are good leaders... godly, holy people. But today as in all days, there are sinful leaders, greedy manipulative leaders, and God sees it all. II Chronicles says in 7:14 If MY people... will humble themselves. This is so difficult for leaders, anyone really- because even though we know we need it, we are too self-righteous, prideful, and afraid of what man thinks more than what God thinks. We are all made of the same clay- me too. My own pride has stopped me many times from drawing nearer to my precious awesome God. How stupid...
