With weight training consistency is key like any other sport to improve and become better and progress. There are only a certain amount of leg movements, back movements, shoulder movement that can be performed BUT hitting them slightly different with using machines, different reps, barbells vs dumbbells, different foot stances for legs, single arm movements vs both arms for shoulders, over grip vs under hand grip for pull downs.. The list goes on BUT what is the most important thing, is that you are continually pushing yourself, getting stronger and being consistent with training and nutrition. For advanced people they might alter their training slightly every week with the reps/machines/stances etc but for a beginner I would recommend not complicating things and just FOCUS on building up a good base, get in there, lift heavy and FOCUS on progressing every session, get your log book and write your weights in for each session and plan on beating it every time, if this is getting another rep or increasing the weight slightly. Either way if you are constantly improving these lifts then you WILL change... TIME is key, there is NO magic workout that will give you results, the secret is HARD WORK , DEDICATION and CONISTENCY..
