Woah! What a rewarding and trying 8 months its been! Today marks Paxtons 8th month! We have had soooo many milestones, trials and tribulations over the past few months! The drs did warn me that the first 12 months will be a doozie and probably the hardest but most rewarding over this whole journey! We have so far dealt with severe reflux, aspirations, hearing deficits, Pulmonary Hypertension, holes in the heart, deformity of the heart valve, low muscle tone, partial oral aversion, low weight gain, Ear surgery and soo much more rewarding stuff...pax has fed orally, solids and milk, learnt to drink from a straw, a cup and a drink bottle, overcome his oral aversion, learnt to roll over, poke his tongue out, squeal, giggle, smile, nod and shake his head, get in the crawl position, hold his head up and pull hair!!! And most importantly.... CRY! Thank you all for being a part of Paxtons Journey!
