Woke up after getting some much needed sleep. I looked into the Florida Times Union and noticed that a airplane static display of the Confederate Air Force is at Cecil Field. They had a picture of a B-29 named FiFi and that brought back some memories. When I was in the Air Force I crossed trained out of the Security Police field and decided to try my hand at fixing airplanes. I went to tech school in Texas and finished the course to fix airplanes so when we were going to do a class picture we looked at airplanes on the ramp and most of the class wanted the picture in front of an F-16 but I convinced the class to have our picture taken in front of FiFi who just happened to be at the base at that time. At the time FiFi was just one of two B-29s that were still flying in the world and I may just go out and see the old gal. Incredible!
