Woke up this morning to hear of the tragedy in my hometown of Stockton. Its a shame a woman died in that bank robbery and was taken from her young child. The bank robbers were cowards. That city has been struggling for so many years and it hurts me to think my family has to still live there. Im sending prayers to the womans family, my family and friends, and the entire community. What bothers me is that last year when we started the I AM READY Foundation we couldnt get the leaders of that community on the same page to come up with real solutions. I blame every elected leader for the ongoing crisis. They care more about fancy speeches and fighting with each other more than they do the lives of citizens of that city. Sadly the blood of this woman rests on their shoulders just as it does the cowards that killed her.
