Woking in Education? The Commonwealth Education Good Practice Award aims to highlight, celebrate and promote positive and promising practices in education throughout the Commonwealth. It is still open for applications - deadline of 16 February 2015. The prestigious award, which will be presented at the 19th Conference of Commonwealth Education Ministers (CCEM) in The Bahamas in June 2015, recognises programmes, policies, projects and strategies that have had a positive impact on students, teachers, or the education system of a country. The winners will be funded to travel to the conference, which is attended by ministers, senior officials, teachers, students, technical experts, civil society and others involved in education in the Commonwealth. Submissions are open to education ministries and institutions, schools and civil society organisations from around the Commonwealth and will be evaluated by independent adjudicators on their relevance to the local context, measurable impact, sustainability, efficiency and effectiveness, community involvement, and ability to be replicated. - See more at: thecommonwealth.org/education#sthash.CSDR2xB8.dpuf
