Wonderful - BW is going to buy the Holms place....again! How does he get away for changing the auction 9 times? Broken Wing October 17 · Edited · BROKEN WING MILESTONE V - BANK OKD SALE TO BROKEN WING HOLDINGS CORPORATION All of us here at Broken Wing is very pleased to announce that funding has been pledged and that Wells Fargo Bank Lending Department has issued payoff statements to our Title Company so that we can finally close on the property that we now refer to as Broken Wings Tranquility Base. As some of you know, this has been over two years in the making. Our critics, specifically members of the Poop and Posse Facebook pages have been incorrectly reporting that we squatted on a foreclosed piece of property. The reality is that the Holms and I worked together so that they would not lose their property to foreclosure. Had they been foreclosed upon, the Holms would of had no place to go. We were able to dodge the auction block approximately nine times. We were also able to compel the bankruptcy court trustee to abandon their interest in the property so that Broken Wings can proceed to obtain the necessary funding to purchase same. Over two years later, Broken Wing is now in the position to close and through an agreement outside the sale of the property, the Holms will have a new place to call their home. I am sure that our critics will point out that the property is still listed on the auction web site with an auction date of November 12, 2014. Of those that have monitored this situation, you would have noticed that auction dates have come and gone concerning this property. The Wells Fargo Payoff Statements concerning this matter are good until November 14th (re the First) and November 25th (re the Second) allowing us enough time to close. Therefore, the auction scheduled for November 12th will be vacated at closing. As far as Wells Fargo Bank is concerned, there is no auction date at this time. In 2010, I went through a divorce and was going through out-patient medical treatment adversely affecting my ability to earn a living. Consequently, I lost my home in Glendale, Arizona to foreclosure. At the time, I, along with 40 parrots and three dogs had no place to go. The Holms was kind enough to take us all in. Mrs. Holm suffered a malpractice at a local hospital resulting in brain damage. Mr. Holm had to devote all his time to care for his wife with the consequence of losing his ability to earn a living as well. During this time Broken Wing was advised that it was being considered for an endowment award. The Holms helped me in my time of need now, through Broken Wing, I can repay their kindness. This is a perfect example of people helping each other and that anything is possible if you maintain your faith in God and keep a positive outlook on life regardless of the current circumstances. I want to tank the good people at Wells Fargo Bank who worked with us through the past two years. Yes, there has been some frustrating times on both sides but in the end it is working out for all concerned. I want to tank all of you that have supported Broken Wing through your prayers, your kinds words and financial support. We ask that you stay tuned to Broken Wing as we continue in our effort to provide these precious feathered companions with all the love and quality care that they deserve. Peace, Love, and if you believe as we do, God bless! Greg Kevakian and the Broken Wing Family Broken Wing Celebrating the life of all Gods creations! Share
