Wonderful - another supposedly well meaning but irresponsible dog finder. Sat her butt on her front porch for an hour waiting for the owner to find her (during a work day afternoon) than turned the dog over to a volunteer for an out of state breed rescue (even though there is a local rescue for that specific breed). She turned the dog over to rescue even though someone mentioned they regularly saw someone walking the very same street with two dogs of that breed. Then the finder and the rescue volunteer both get pissy when someone asks why she turned the dog over to a rescue so fast without filing a found dog report with animal control or taking the dog to be scanned for a chip. (Dog was found on my old street in my old neighborhood - Not in Brevard county) :-/ Ever wonder how dogs sometimes end up found (via chip) hundreds of miles from where they were lost? This is how. Most will never be found. People piss me off. Im going to retire and become a reclusive crazy dog/cat lady.....or a serial killer. I havent decided which yet.
