Word of the Day: Patience; "He that can have patience can have what he will." -- Benjamin Franklin Second Word of the Day: Polymath; A polymath is a person whose expertise spans a significant number of different subject areas; they are known to draw on complex bodies of knowledge to solve specific problems. Benjamin Franklin was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. A noted polymath, Franklin was a leading author, printer, political theorist, politician, postmaster, scientist, musician, inventor, satirist, civic activist, statesman, and diplomat. As a scientist, he was a major figure in the American Enlightenment and the history of physics for his discoveries and theories regarding electricity. He facilitated many civic organizations, including a fire department and a university (University of Pennsylvania). Franklin, always proud of his working class roots, became a successful newspaper editor and printer in Philadelphia, the leading city in the colonies. Hopefully these two words (Patience and Polymath) along with Benjamin Franklin can inspire you. We all need more patience and a polymath-like entrepreneur, creative, and problem solving spirit to turn our challenges into opportunities. Your capacity is huge, the universe is your ball field, play ball!
