Word of warning regarding Annas Linens in Port Arthur. A week ago today I bought a comforter set, curtains and a rug for my bedroom. I was very excited because I had been looking for just the right comforter. Put it all on and loved it. A few days later I noticed odd white marks all over the comforter. The least little abrasion - such as setting your purse on it or even just making the bed caused the dark brown color in the comforter to turn into a white mark. If you tried to rub the white mark out it got bigger and whiter?!? Because initially I was so pleased with the set I did not save the receipt or the packaging of the comforter. I took the comforter set back to Annas and was told they would take the comforter back but the only money I would get was store credit at the lowest sale price of the set. I explained that it was exactly 1 week ago and the price is still the same on the remaining stock of these sets - they were not on sale. They refused to try to look up the transaction even though they said they could and remained adamant that they would only give me $20.00 less than I paid because apparently at one time in the past it was marked $20 cheaper. Lesson learned.
