‘Words are Powerful’ they can be used as a weapon of fear or as a flame of love During a phone call I received yesterday something was brought to my attention. I felt it was important enough to write about it to some extent resurrecting in you the reader, a friendly reminder on how words can create cause and effect in our daily lives. I was told the person concerned was having digestive problems, could not keep their food down. The person concerned was in hospital, and I am sure many of you will say hospital food will do that to you. After x-rays and examination doctors could not find the cause. When I was told this, I asked the person sharing if the individual had a positive outlook or a negative outlook on life? They asked me what I meant as everyone would have some negativity in their lives? I asked if the person spoke in a harsh fashion, angry at what is going on around them and did they complain nonstop about everyone even the doctors and nurses who attend their needs? I enquired if the person constantly complained about the past, lives in the past, not finding joy in the moment that is present? Yes was the answer. I asked could it be a possibility their words are killing them? Or causing digestive problems? Maybe they are not aware that what they give or throw out in words as a barb to another will feed them twice as much, causing greater harm to them in the long term. Some people call this ‘Physic attack’. For words can be used as a weapon and tear great big holes in the Aura of another person, leaving them to bleed, or leak out energy. The person on the other end of the phone replied, Hmm, yes never thought of that. There is much more to it than what I am saying here, it goes deeper on an emotional and mental wheel of thought. Today dear friends on reflection of your life as it is NOW and the people surrounding you would you consider doing an inventory on how you speak, and how you relate your words to people. Is your tone harsh, raised, critizing, judgmental, accusing, intolerant, angry, resentful, and even to the point of bordering on hate at times for the issues you perceive are at hand? Consider the effect the above would have in your household, work, family and friends. Is your tone light, soft, happy, fun, laughter, in the moment, enjoying what is before you? Consider the effect the above would have in your household, work, family and friends. Which household/work would you choose to be in? Words are powerful, what we speak out we become. If we lash out, we become a whip that leaves deep scars that can take a lot of time to erase/dissolve. May your day be productive, may you laugh a thousand times today, cry a little with joy, and most of all kill yourself with kindness. Think kind thoughts, be happy let the Universe support you. ‘I Am’ Elraya
