Words of Corey: A friend of mine unfortunately passed the other day. We never talked a lot.. We didnt hang out or.. really do anything together. But we did however talk to each other about our struggles in life. He had his, and I had mine. But then I remembered that he took the time to write a song for me. In the words of Kevin Hoyt It Aint Chemo, Ian Parsons wrote a song about me and how life shouldnt be ruined by anger and pain about pointless shit that happens during the day, because hey.. It Aint Chemo right? It could be loosing your hair, puking all day, loosing all your weight, your friends, not being able to eat, not being able to walk, drive, kiss your loved one, or simply live your life.. how ever you look at it.. I appreciate the little thing you did for me Ian. I know to me.. it seems like we barely knew each other, but you touched my heart with this. I have listened to this almost a dozen times today and remembered how you told me it took you about 10-15 takes to do this without breaking up and crying. The lyrics are accurate as can be. I hope wherever you are, you know that I do thank you for this song as a gift to me. Life may not have been what it was made out to be brother.. I still say no matter what happened.. you still respected it for what it was worth. Goodbye friend. See you on the other side someday.. May god bless you.
