Work is done for a while, but there is still so much on the horizon. Im somewhere between letting myself collapse and trying to hold myself together for the life changing events soon to unfold. The leap is taken, my eyes steady on the light at the end of the tunnel, but my heart is steeled for the equally likely fall into that old familiar darkness. I am grateful for the security I have found for keeping myself physically alive, and I suspect Ill soon see more clearly if this gnarled heart can make it out alive. I suppose Im still just too proud to ever sink, may my hope triumph over my cynicism.
