Worked with Hashim today on standing tied and round pen work. He did GREAT. I think he finally has the standing tied down pat (took him a while to accept it) and I got my first join up with him in the round pen. Also worked with Fasaalah. She immediately had her diva moment of oh NO you didnt! and was more than a little peeved at the whole thing. I have spoiled that mare rotten. But, by the time we finished, she was licking and chewing, doing inside turns, and a partial join up. Now that the temperature and humidity arent stifling, Im looking forward to doing more with the horses. I wish autumn last longer and wasnt followed by winter (autumn into spring would be great).
