Working electronics, guest calls 10 minutes before my shift is over. She says, Im looking for a book. Ok, do you know what its called or who wrote it? I ask her, expecting her to be halfway intelligent. No, all I know is that it starts with the letter S, she replies, apparently thinking that I am a medium and can read her mind. Let me go check our shelves, I tell her as I head to the backroom to beat my head against a wall. How this woman manages to get dressed in the morning, I will never know.
