The band takes a musical journey through five decades, revisiting many well-known but not often heard tracks. This is not just another “covers band”. The Wicked Past stands out from the collective with a unique selection of songs, the prodigious voice of Miss Jodie Fenwick, and a great sounding band. The Wicked Past consists of five musicians who are each exceptional in their own right, the strength of this band lies in their unity. In this case, the whole is definitely greater than the sum of its parts. The Wicked Past is: JODIE FENWICK: Vocals and electric guitar. Blends of sweet, sensitive, funny, powerful and tough. Jodie is an instinctive performer, and quick to jump on both musical opportunities and chances to engage an audience. In short, Jodie oozes girl power. James Turk: Bass and backing vocals. Amazing Bass, how sweet the sound. James’ versatile and creative approach to the bass adds a rock-solid bottom end to one groovin’ rhythm section. With infectious bass lines and a “goodtime” approach, James basically rocks. Mike Howard: Drums. Mike’s drumming is tightly locked with the bass and accentuates the band’s rhythm section. Mike plays an electronic drum kit which can be played at surprisingly low volume, or equally well at higher volumes when the occasion demands. This is definitely one of the band’s strengths, as it makes The Wicked Past suitable for any venue. Garry Marshall and Todd Newman: Guitars, backing vocals. Each guitarist brings a broad range of complimentary influences and styles to the band. Both are accomplished lead and rhythm players who love what they do. From the occasional ballad to disco, pop and rock guitar virtuosity, Garry and Todd leave no stone unturned.
