Working towards registering Aelia Salinatrix. Salinatrix seems - TopicsExpress

Working towards registering Aelia Salinatrix. Salinatrix seems to be the female version of Salinator. I can document Gaius Livius Salinator to (britannica/EBchecked/topic/409537/Gaius-Claudius-Nero). He was born in 204 BC which fits within the window of Aelia who is documented to 399 (luc.edu/roman-emperors/pulcheria.htm). Do I need to find a source for Salinatrix or is the male version enough since so many female names were based on male names? I know wikipedia isnt a solid source to use for facts. The book cited from wikipedia is a good one though. The author of Personal names in the Roman world, Clive Cheesman, was Curator, Department of Coins and Medals, British Museum, from 1996 to 2000 and is the author of Names and naming systems in The Edinburgh Companion to Ancient Greece and Rome (2006). He is currently Rouge Dragon Pursuivant, College of Arms. Is this a good enough of a source for using Salinatrix?
