World Environment Day National Centre For Excellence celebrated the World Environment Day on 5th June 2013, wherein the students of the school pledged to lead an environmentally conscious year ahead. Different programs like Recitation of Nature, Skit and Poster making were organised to equip the students with the vision of a healthy, clean and smiling planet. The Principal, Mrs Shobhana Prabhakaran encouraged the students to use steel bottles, recycled pencils, reusable lunch boxes, ecofriendly green pens to dispel the myth that living light on the earth is difficult or burdensome.
