World Peace By 2050: Ive had the pleasure of traveling alongside and working with many visionaries who share my dream of World Peace. Theyve each got their own approach and unique contributions to the effort and I honor each of them. I have chosen to write this essay to express a few of my visions and tools that I feel will assist us in transitioning into an entirely new paradigm of BEing in Humanity Consciousness journey. My hope is that these ideas and concepts will inspire and encourage others to lend their insights and tools to the collective effort. After all, World Peace is a Team Sport ;-) My visions of World Peace include Acceptance, Knowledge, Honor, Trust, Courage, Joy, Abundance, Empowerment, Vulnerability, Compassion, Adaptability, Practicality, Discernment, and Wisdom... among others. I see these components, not as vagaries of perception or lofty and unachievable ideals, but as Practical, Teachable, Livable Realities and Ways of BEing. Within every religion, spirituality, work of art, film, book, dream, social media post, person, et cetera there is an element of Truth. Within each individual is the ability to Discern and Resonate with this Truth. Herein lies the key, map, tool, framework, essence... Everything that we need, crave, desire, or strive externally for resides and Resonates within. Many of the current economic systems operate on a fundamental principle of Supply and Demand. There are many more intricacies of the micro and macro economic dynamo that are beyond the scope of this essay and I encourage the experts in those fields to supply their information and insights to the newly emerging paradigms. For now, Ill focus on Supply and Demand. Simply: As an item is Demanded, the Supply is increased, as Supply exceeds Demand, Demand wanes. There is a component of Value or price that is associated with this dynamic and a plethora of other contributing factors that interactively mingle with each other to produce the living organism of Economies. In my personal and professional life I have had many opportunities to observe and interact with Nature. Ive seen that Nature operates on a similar principle to Supply and Demand with one caveat: Nature only uses the resources it has available in the local environment and anything thats added to a space lives in harmony with its surroundings lest the addition or the environment become imbalanced to the point of dis-ease and death. Thus Nature survives, flourishes, and provides Abundance for all its cohabitants with longevity and reliability. Mirroring this principle of Environmental Harmonization is one of the key components of my vision for World Peace. Without too much political or religious dogma, I observe the overtone of the pervasive systems of reinforcement and control as being founded in Scarcity Consciousness. Competition, Survivalism, Duality, Stereotypes, Poverty, War and others are symptoms of Scarcity Consciousness. Basically: I have one thing. If I give it to you, I have no thing. This is part of our basic survival instincts, and true to a point. I feel there is another way though. Abundance Consciousness: I give to you freely from where Im Abundant, you receive freely and flow from your Abundance to me or others. Were all Abundant on an Ever Increasing and Expanding Scale. Great idea right?!? How though? Presenting the concept and believing it to be a possible alternative to current ways of thinking and BEing is an excellent start ;-) Beyond observing the concept as possible and adaptable is being willing to observe, adopt, and honor other systems of Value. In order to do that, exploring what a pervasive Value System like Money actually is becomes a useful exercise. Money: A broadly accepted form of transferring goods and services between individuals based upon an external system of Value. Essentially, Transferable Trust. Transferable Trust. What does it take for you to give or receive Money or Items or Services from someone? Youve got to Trust them, and see the Value of whatever it is in your life, and they have to Trust you (or at least your money) and the see the Value that the interaction brings to their life. So you have a choice in your interactions: Trust and Value the Individual, Thing, and/or Money. This has made the open exchange of goods and services incredibly easy. We no longer have to know the person, we simply choose to Trust and Value their Money or Goods/ Services/ etc. and we can access anything the World has to offer. With Technology, we dont even necessarily have to speak the same language or live in the same part of the World. Consumerism at its finest... What if we learned (and were taught) how to quickly and accurately Discern whether an individual or their services were Trust-worthy and/ or Value-able in our lives? What if our concepts of Value and Trust were based upon Internal Reward Systems that operated independently of (or at least in Harmony with) external systems like Money? What if this information and Discernment was readily available and easily recalled whenever desired? Couldnt other forms of exchange be as prominent and widely Honored as Transferable Trust? Thus my concept of an Abundance Economy comes about... In Abundance Economies, goods and services are exchanged from a place of Mutual Abundance based upon internally determined systems of Trust and Value. Open, Honest, and Timely Communication of these systems between individuals allows for an Individualized Rate of Exchange to be established and maintained between Informed and Empowered Partners. How do people develop their IRS (Internal Reward Systems)? Training and Practice. How do people develop their internal and external communication skills? Training and Practice. How do people come to the realization that they are Abundant and Increasingly Infinite? Training and Practice. Why would they do these things? Self-Love and Love for Family and Others. Why would people Love themselves or Others? Its our natural state of BEing, and if were out of practice - Training and Practice. ;-) This isnt meant to be a complete and in-depth analysis of and action-plan for implementing World Peace. As I mentioned earlier, this is meant to start a conversation and an exchange of ideas and resources. I can teach and expand on any of the concepts presented herein if youre interested in learning more from my personal journey.
