I interviewed with a company in San Francisco where the CEO told me: Ive interviewed over 70 bootcamp graduates already. He wasnt impressed. I didnt get the job. When I finished my 3-month software internship in Ecuador and planned to come back to LA to find a job, I contacted the head of the biggest LA Ruby/Rails Meetup group (meetup/laruby/), JR Fent. While I studied alone, I realized how much Flatiron School had NOT taught me and left out of their curriculum, even though its supposed to be one of the best web developer bootcamps in the U.S.
