Would like to make it aware to those buying laptops in their future....my Hp would get soooo hot, it would burn my leg. I bought fan rest for it, which helped, but was still hot at times. I thought that was normal, since Id never had a laptop before this one. Ive had it for about 2 1/2 years. Everything, I always have anti-virus protection on it, it got 4 Trojan viruses. I was able to get 4 of them off, but the last one was major. Thats when it really started kicking in high gear and shutting down to prevent overheating.The message was that the bios had been affected. I had my computer guy look at it. After diagnosis.....time for a new one. :( Ive talked to others and found the same thing happened to them. +++++ Have any of yall had similar problems? My sons Toshiba stays cool at all times.
