Wow! 1,300 Likes!! Thank you so much for joining us on our journey! VLCAD is not curable so we will be fighting for the rest of Sawyers life! We are so thankful for all you who are joining us!! Sawyers blood pressure was low all night and she didnt pee much so they turned up her fluids even more and gave her an extra bolus of fluids to jump start her kidneys this morning. Her blood pressure has finally came up but she still isnt peeing too much yet. We tried to give her a feeding this morning and she started vomiting again. She also was continuing to have diarrhea so they have stopped all of her feedings and to put her on a Gut Rest to give her body time to recover. Normally Sawyer cant go more than 4 hours without eating but because she is on her Super Juice it is safe for her. They didnt want to check her blood work again this morning because she was so dehydrated that they didnt want to take any little bit of fluid she had left. They are going to continue to hydrate her today and tonight and they will check blood work in the morning. Sawyer had some visitors this morning. Our good friends Emily and Myra who are staying on the same unit for Emilys last round of chemo, brought us breakfast and gifts. We are so blessed by them! Sawyers Abuela Marguerite came by to say hello! And Sawyers Great Grandma Linda, Great Uncle Ken and Great Aunt Brenda came by just about an hour ago to give us a break to go and get some lunch. Pastor Tom and a great family friend Anne Zeter stopped by last night while we were still in the ER. We are so incredibly blessed by everyone who prays for us (near or far). Thank you all so much for your love and encouragement. We dont know how we would get through times like this without you all!!! We love you!!
