Wow, Im still trying to wrap my brain around what took place yesterday. For 3 months I have had hanging over my head an extremely difficult surgery to remove this cancerous tumor in my patooty ( lovely)! My surgeon told me how hard the surgery was going to be(.all day under the knife) and that I would wake up with a colostomy bag (ugh!) and that I was considered a high risk patient because of all my other health issues. Well yesterday I went for supposedly my last test to stage this cancer, a sigmoidoscopy ultra sound up my behind and the next thing I knew they were removing this tumor( no anesthetic mind you), but what an answer to prayer! I kept asking and telling the Lord that I didnt think my body could handle this huge surgery to please just take it away...well to my surprise it is gone!!! Tissue was taken around the tumor and I have to wait a week to hear the result of this, cause I still could have to have chemo and radiation but I am in awe of how the Lord works! My tumor was actually in the shape of a heart and as crazy as it sounds it was like a love message from the Lord that He is in control and mindful of little ole me! Thank you JESUS!!!
