Wow, Its been a year and a few months since I came to Holly Springs Mississippi and I must say, it help mentally. After my only son passed and my injury it took a lot out of me and there was times I wanted to give up on life.. One day my sister had the the radio and I heard the song by Mary Mary Go get, and I got out of the bed and got my amp and still to this day I still cant tell you how I got it up the stairs because I could not use my left hand. About 3 weeks later my cousin Steve Green was doing a Musician Fellowship at church and I wanted to go so bad, I got dressed and put my bedroom slippers and Ron took me to the church. It was cold that day and am out with bedroom slippers on and my walker in pain. I was doing things the doctors told me not to do. Today Ill say am about 70% healed and thats good enough for me. So I want to thank my friends in philly for there support, Mr.Ray Brooks, Dave, Stephanie Smith, Audrey Robb, Ron Simon Theresa Ollison and my sisters Vivian and Gail.
