Wow This Makes My Day! Christina Gaudet - Wild Things - review Trevor Sewell Real energy attitude, great vocals and guitar riffs abound throughout this album. World Wide Love has a great chorus and Burn is one of my favourites a very catchy song with real hit potential. Hurricane is another strong song with a cool change of pace in the middle and more excellent riffs and power chords . Love the fiddle on Arcadia, it adds a really cool vibe and texture with loads of energy that persists into Love Drive - another (no pun intended) driving melody. The songwriting is excellent throughout this album and I bet it sounds great live with the fiddle really adding a contemporary edge. Another change of pace with Raw which has a great intro. Great feel on Wave and one thing that is apparent throughout the whole album is the strength of melody in the songwriting and Christina definitely has a style of her own. Some nice acoustic on Face To Face . Lovely guitar on Like you do which is a very strong song and another one of my favourites that I could easily imagine being used in a soundtrack as it has good universal lyrics and a nice pace that I could imagine Music Supervisors appreciating. A great album that will see more plays in my car over the coming months. Well done Christina! :)
