Wow! What an exciting weekend for soccer (futbol) fans everywhere. It was great! Dr. Bob was exhausted after the USA vs. Portugal game. He worked really hard cheering loud enough for the team to hear him! :) After a good nights sleep, he is at work and enjoying the children and parents. The next USA game is against Germany on Thursday, 06/26/2014, at 12 noon. It will be on ESPN again. USA! USA! USA! Dr. Bob did notice that there were very few of the players wearing mouth guards. There were some wearing braces. Dr. Bob does recommend well-fitting athletic mouthguards for most athletes. It is especially important for soccer players, football, basketball and baseball players (any age). In all of these sports the mouthguard helps to protect the players teeth and helps to cushion the force of the impact to the jaw and facial structures. We do have a list of sports from Acrobatics to Wrestling. Again, the mouthguard needs to be well fitting and worn regularly in practice and competition. Good Play! Good Equipment! Good Luck!
