Wow.......check this out. Its all about farm to table. Ive met this guy, Craig Black(with the long beard), several times. Hes the head gardener at Houmas House Plantation in Darrow, LA. Hes actually more than that though, he also does woodworking and art. Hes very interesting and loves to chew the fat with people. Also met the Executive Chef, Jeremy Langlois, at the Latils Landing Restuarant(5-star) in Houmas House. First impression - hes very young to be in that position(this was a few years ago). Darrow, LA is between New Orleans and Baton Rouge. They now have an Inn there, which is a little pricey, but youre on a Plantation on the Mississippi :-). https://youtube/watch?v=WuK_d4jsqQo
