Wow night! Surprise attack at the bar tonight. My side gig is bar backing at a local pub that i hung out at. I dont claim being a bartender but I can smoke a wine and beer tender that claim the role. Tonight I realized i could be and i think i will try harder as long as it is always part time for me. I got so many compliments and they had no clue i was just doing what i do under pressure. I was fast at it as well with multi orders at a time. I know drinks cause i drink myself but tonight I realized not only did i know drinks but i knew how to make them. I feel good. Got my ass kicked but never lost my cool and learned prices very fast on things i never made before. I loved that nobody could tell that i dont make drinks ever day. I did found out i like doing it and I got a lot of compliments and all I kept thinking was technically tonight was the first time i full fledged tended bar. I didnt have to ask how to make anything tonight and it showed me I could actually do this after time. All in all i learned alot to help but even i knew 1 bartender could have never managed that crowd and people like me step up to the plate and thats what it takes most would not do that and they will always be that way. My mom said years ago brad it always works out for you and she was right but because i will never stop swinging for that homerun.
