Wow, this article is full of incredibly sweeping generalizations about both the gay and Christian community. I put those in quotes because I believe this article perpetuates the myth that the two communities are distinct from one another. As a Christian, who also happens to be a lesbian, I have found both acceptance and rejection from both other LGBT people and within the exclusively Christian community as well. However, I have found a wide swath of acceptance in both. To pit these two communities against each other is to perpetuate the lie that there are gays and there are Christians and never the twain shall meet. Just because SOME LGBT people reject you does not mean ALL of them do and the same goes for Christians. SOME rejection is not TOTAL rejection, but, please, dont let facts get in the way of your attempt to continue to paint one community as better, or more moral, than the other.
