Wow, what a busy day weve had. Our open day was such a huge success and we have to thank everyone that that came down to say hello. We saw so many smiling children and parents and we had a great time showing you all around our station and appliances. We know that the free BBQ and fire extinguisher demonstration was a big hit. We must also thank the other agencies that came and visited us, including; SAPOL ST John Noarlunga Division Metro South SES W.I.C.E.N S.A. Since then we have been out assisting with a search in the Onkaparinga Gorge for a missing elderly man. Fortunately he was found safe and well with the assistance of the SAPOL helicopter. We had just returned from that incident when the huge electrical storm went through our area, resulting in a couple more jobs for us to respond to.
