Write-On!! Monday: Its November! Keeping it short and sweet today. Its November, and that means NANOWRIMO!!!! Technically, I havent committed to NaNoWriMo (yet) this year, but I always find it inspiring knowing there are people like me out there cranking out words upon words, freed from the usual constraints of plotting, characterization, sentence structure, percentage of dialogue, and the many other plaguing background worries of writing. Every participant should get a pair of Nikes, for those occasional sprints to the kitchen for water or wine or whatever gets you through the night, because were Just Doing It! (on our tushes, but hey, we can get up and moving when December comes). Its a wonderful thing. Actual full-length published novels have been born from the tiny month of November (*cough cough*, Blood Exchange). So, in honor of the many many many ...... many NaNoWriMo participants this year...
