Writing a scene that takes place during a rain storm... happily, it is raining rather heavily outside. Of course, this meant I had to go wander around in the rain so that I could accurately write about the experience. I kind of was wishing someone would notice and ask the crazy person what she was doing so that I could laughingly reply, "Research!" Of course, that would have to mean there was ANOTHER crazy person outside in the rain at the same time. We could have become best friends. Alas, there seem to be no kindred spirits in my neighborhood.
