X Factor 2014: Cheryl Cole beats Simon Cowell in the telly ratings! It’s official: Cheryl Cole is the (slightly) more popular X Factor judge between herself and Simon Cowell! All this week the new face of the Xtra Factor Sarah-Jane Crawford has been hosting a series of ITV2 specials featuring the judges. An average audience of 602,000 watched Simon Cowell’s first episode on Monday night, titled The Boss Is Back. But Cheryl’s own show on Tuesday evening entertained a few more, with an average audience of 645,000 – including viewers on +1. Poor Louis Walsh’s own show – which aired last night – had the lowest ratings of the week so far with 500,000 viewers. The special shows continue tonight at 8PM on ITV2 with ‘The Wonderful World of X Factor’ taking a look back at some of the show’s best and worst moments from the past ten years. And on Friday night, Sarah-Jane hosts a countdown of the X Factor’s Top Ten moments as vote for by us viewers. The X Factor 2014 itself will then start on Saturday at 8PM on ITV, while the Xtra Factor kicks off straight after at 9:25PM on ITV2.
